At a certain point in life, the wildest thing you can do at camp is accidentally fall asleep in a chair before dinner.

And honestly, that sounds perfect.

The younger version of us may have stayed up too late, made questionable decisions, and called it an adventure. Now adventure looks like finding a peaceful campsite, making something simple over the fire, and getting in a solid nap before the stars come out.

That’s not boring. That’s wisdom. That’s knowing your limits and still choosing the good stuff.

Because staying up until dark after a campsite power nap still counts as a big night in the van life world.
