Long day yesterday pulling a double morning trip was the Rizzio family from west Virginia. Was a calm ride out with no wind but I knew that wasn't going to last long. Set up east of kellys island set our Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. Tru trips 70-90 back on one side and 100-120 on the other pulling all meat. Didn't take long before the high side was catching more fish. Our 50s we 53-62 back catching fish also. We had there limit before noon and a couple for me. Nice grade of fish and great that they are closer to home since the perch fishing has got tough. No pics from afternoon trip but conditions were definitely worse 3' 4's that were building to 5 footers. Team Iowa pulled 25 fish for afternoon short trip. All in all a great day. I canceled today's trip due to building waves and 3 days of northeast winds its not getting anyb better. September is looking like a great month for walleye since they are back closer to home. Have open dates.
