Congratulations to Linus and Rick Hartings on being among the inaugural inductees into the Ohio High School Bowling Coaches Hall of Fame! 🎳
What a meaningful night celebrating the individuals who have helped pave the way for high school bowling across the state of Ohio.
Liny was pivotal in making bowling an official school sport back in the late 1990s. Years later, that vision has grown into something incredible — nearly 5,000 high school bowlers now participate across the state.
Both proprietor and coach, Rick has a winning record that speaks for itself. On top of that, he’s earned 9 state titles, countless conference championships, and has coached and mentored hundreds of bowlers throughout the years. His impact reaches far beyond the lanes, helping shape generations of bowlers — and he’s now getting close to coaching the kids of some of his former players. 😉
To be in a room filled with coaches and leaders who have dedicated countless years to growing the sport was truly special. And we couldn’t be more proud to see both Coldwater High School and Pla-Mor Lanes represented among them.
Well deserved, Linus and Rick. Your dedication, leadership and passion have left a lasting impact on the sport and the countless bowlers you’ve helped along the way.
