Gooserbat Game Calls Gooserbat Turkey Calls and Turkey Hunting in general. We first hit the scene in 2009 with the purpose of building the best diaphragm calls available.

Since then, Gooserbat won six consecutive Oklahoma state calling titles (2010-2015), as well as other calling contests across the region. We have also won the chess match with a few Ol' Gobblers. The big reason behind starting Gooserbat was being unable to find calls that would satisfy me. I felt the consistency was lacking from one call to another. Another thing I didn't like was the fact that mo

st higher reed count calls took too much air to blow. So after over a year of consideration and some brain storming or brain burning, my wife Darla and I set out to change all of that. First, with the help of some valued friends I perfected our three original calls (Double Bit, Hillbilly, and Classic Hen). Then, in January of 2009 I launched Gooserbat Game Calls. Now today here we are. Our calls are known for being sensitive and with a stretch tolerance of +/- .002 these calls are very consistent. I have since developed two series of pot and peg calls, a series of box calls and a few other tools of tom trickery. We are located in the small community of Colcord which is in the hills of the Oklahoma Ozarks. We still think of ourselves as a mom & pop type business with most of the work being done by myself, and Darla. We are especially blessed to have a field staff who not only takes up the slack when needed, but also takes pride in being part of Gooserbat. One final question? What's a Gooserbat?
