Pickleball With Dave I got into pickleball back in 2022 when my son came home raving about this game they played at school. I absolutely loved it! Next tournament? Boom! Woohoo!

I was like, "What's pickleball?" We went to our local courts and played together, and guess what? I missed the whole competitive sports vibe, and pickleball filled that gap perfectly. Started playing casually, got better, and eventually, I found myself in tournaments. The first couple were a bit of a bummer – no medals. But that just made me want to up my game. My partner and I not only snagged a medal but went for the gold! Now, I've got a bunch more medals, and my drive to level up just keeps on growing.

Why coaching? Well, I've always had a blast coaching my kids in various sports leagues. On top of that, I spent six years as an adjunct college professor, guiding undergrads. Also, being a former college athlete, I've seen great examples of coaches. There's something about helping people improve and pushing them to reach their potential that just clicks with me. I'm outgoing with a positive attitude that tends to rub off on those I'm teaching. Now, I'm eager to channel this teaching enthusiasm into a game I'm passionate about.

In this 90-minute mini camp we will focus on the thought process, reasons behind, and proper mechanics and court positioning for deeper, more consistent serves and returns. Also, we'll review proper court positioning AFTER these shots are taken. After drilling, we will move into games to implement the strategies.
