Fall soccer is right around the corner, and we’re looking forward to another great season of fun, friends, and soccer at Airport Park! 💙⚽️

📅 **Games:** Saturdays, September 12–October 24
📍 **Airport Park, Colchester**

**Game Schedule:**
⚽ Kindergarten Academy — 9:30–10:30 AM
⚽ Grade 1 — 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
⚽ Grade 2 — 12:30–1:30 PM
⚽ Grade 3/4 Boys — 9:30–10:30 AM
⚽ Grade 3/4 Girls — 12:30–1:30 PM
⚽ Grades 5–8 — 2:00–3:00 PM

**Practice Schedule:**
📍 Airport Park | 5:30–6:30 PM

Monday — Grade 1
Tuesday — Grade 2
Wednesday — Grades 3–4
Thursday — Grades 5–8

We still have room for more players, **especially in Grades 3–4 and Grades 5–8!** If your child has been thinking about trying soccer, this is a great opportunity to jump in, meet some new teammates, and have fun this fall. ⚽️🙌

The CYSC Rec program is for Colchester residents in Kindergarten to eighth grade. The focus is on learning the game, skill development, having fun and instilling a love of the game onto the kids.

⚽️ **Fall Soccer Evaluations Are Almost Here!** 🍂

The start of another exciting VSL Colchester Youth Soccer season is just around the corner! Evaluations will be held at Airport Park during the first week of August, with each session lasting approximately one hour.

📅 Evaluation Schedule

Monday, August 3 – U8 *(Born on or before 8/1/2018)*
⚽ Boys: 5:00–6:00 PM
⚽ Girls: 6:00–7:00 PM

Tuesday, August 4 – U10 *(Born between 8/1/2016–7/31/2018)*
⚽ Boys: 5:00–6:00 PM
⚽ Girls: 6:00–7:00 PM

Wednesday, August 5 – U12 *(Born between 8/1/2014–7/31/2016)*
⚽ Boys: 5:00–6:00 PM
⚽ Girls: 6:00–7:00 PM

**We are in need of more players at the U12 level for both boys and girls, please share with anyone who may be interested!**

✅ Please have your player:
💧 Bring a water bottle
👕 Wear their Colchester Youth Soccer jersey (or any athletic shirt if they don't have one yet)
👟 Wear soccer cleats and shin guards
⏰ Arrive 10–15 minutes early for check-in so we can start on time.

Evaluations help us create balanced teams and ensure every player is placed in an environment where they can continue to develop their skills, compete, build confidence, and—most importantly—have fun all season long!

This is your last call to register for Fall 2026 Soccer before registration fees increase on July 15!

If you're planning to join us this fall, now is the time to register. Uniform orders will be placed next week, and registering early is essential to ensure your player receives the correct size and is ready for the start of the season.

Registration is open for both our Recreational and Competitive programs.

Did you know? Players are welcome—and encouraged—to participate in BOTH Recreational and Competitive soccer! Many of our players enjoy the opportunity to develop their skills through competitive play while also experiencing the fun, community-focused atmosphere of our recreational program.

We're also looking for volunteer coaches for both programs. Whether you're an experienced coach or stepping onto the field for the first time, CYSC will provide the support and resources you need. Coaching is a wonderful way to make a lasting impact on our players and our soccer community.

CYSC is excited to once again participate in the Colchester Fourth of July Parade, and we would love to have your family join us!

Marching in the parade has become a favorite tradition for many of our players, and it's a great opportunity to celebrate our soccer community while showing our CYSC spirit. This event is open to all players participating in any CYSC program.

Parade Details
📅 Date: July 4th
⏰ Arrival Time: 9:00 AM
📍 Meet Location: Colchester High School Parking Lot

Players should wear their CYSC jerseys and be ready for a fun morning! The parade route travels from Colchester High School to Lavigne Road (Mazza's Farmstand). Families can pick up their children at Mazza's following the parade.

CYSC will provide some items for participants to hand out along the parade route. We would also greatly appreciate donations of:

Icee Pops
Candy
Bottled Water
We are always looking for adult volunteers to help with supervision and to assist with distributing items to the kids during the parade.

Below are the evaluation dates for the 2026 Spring Season. All evaluations will be held at the Nordic Center at the Champlain Valley Expo:

U8 Girls (2019&2018 birth years): January 24, 7:00–8:00 AM
U8 Boys (2019&2018 birth years): January 24, 8:00–9:00 AM
U10 Boys (2017&2016 birth years): January 31, 7:00–8:00 AM
U10 Girls (2017&2016 birth years): January 31, 8:00–9:00 AM
U12 Girls (2015 &2014 birth years): January 31, 8:00–9:00 AM
U12 Boys (2015 &2014 birth years): February 14, 8:00–9:00 AM

Season Overview
Games begin: ~May 1

Practices begin: Late April (once Airport Park opens)

League games: 6–7 per team

Extras: Coaches may schedule friendly games or enter local tournaments

Season wraps up: June 6 & 7 at the Vermont Soccer Festival (age groups will play on one of those days, not both).

Player Fee ($160) Includes :

Uniform (if not already received during the fall season, $30 discount if no uniform needed)

CYSC thrives because of community support, and we are always looking for new coaches and volunteers to help create the best experience for our players. We are especially in need of a VSL Coordinator, Treasurer and a Referee Coordinator.

The Lady Lakers have made it to the Division I Championship and there is no greater pride than LAKER PRIDE! 💙

We’d love for you to join us in sending off the girls this Saturday at 2:45 PM at Colchester High School. Your support is crucial in helping us line Laker Lane and cheer them on as they head to the big game!

Don’t forget to wear your CHS Laker, CYSC, or CMS apparel, and bring signs for your favorite players! The team entourage will roll out around 3:15 PM — then let’s follow them to the game at UVM's Virtue Field and keep the energy going! All are welcome! We'd love to see you at the send-off, the game, or both!

The Boy’s Varsity soccer team is hosting CYSC players (both Rec and VSL) at their last home game at 6pm at Colchester High School.

Players should arrive at 5:30pm and meet at the entrance to the walkway to the field. (You'll see us, don't worry!)

CYSC players will get to walk out with the Boy’s Varsity and participate in halftime games (wear your shin guards and cleats).
Plus, we’ll have shirt giveaways!

Wear your CYSC jersey or any combination of green and blue and be ready to cheer!

See you on the fields!
