Unfortunate news

Season is officially over for me.
Despite thrashing through the night and getting a head gasket and timing chain in, valves are bent.
Still no compression. While trying to get a better understanding of why she fired one cylinder and blew something out the bottom, dumped the oil with it.
This motor is done.

All in all an excellent learning experience however disappointing.
Next motor I find is getting properly done, from the crank and bearings to the rings, valves springs and cams.

Plan is to hit it hard as hell next year.
