You know what I really appreciate about nutrition?
There is no one size fits all.

You’ll never hear me preaching ONE WAY to eat for everyone.
Choosing the proper nutrition program should include understanding your personal goals, season of life, your bodies current state and your history with food, stress, fitness etc.

I’ve utilized the vegetarian, vegan, raw vegan, paleo, Whole Foods, high protein, flexible/macro counting, low glycemic, blood type, nutrition programs and they all served my body amazingly for the season of life I was in. They all taught me something different about my body.

One of the best investments of time you can make is understanding food, the human body and how to use nutrition as a tool to fuel you through the best life possible. I would and do encourage you to diversify your knowledge in order to fit the right tools for the job at hand.

Alright fam, here’s the deal — although I shoot it straight, sometimes the truth isn’t always what we want to hear… but we all know we’re better off for it. And when applied? It can be life-changing. 💯

Let’s talk about something simple, powerful, and honestly… a little underrated: okra water.

THIS WILL PROBABLY COST ME BUSINESS - BUT after 18 years in this profession working with women 13-83 - eating disorders, body image disorders, athletes, actresses, women/men, mothers, fathers, husbands, brothers, sisters....you get my drift - I can tell you this is where and how I've seen the best results for my clients and you probably won't see it anywhere else on the internet.

If you know me at all, you know I don't just talk theory, I talk experience.

This isn't going to be your regular fitness or health and wellness post. So don't expect some deep dive into some super science to the human body or how to master your habits to ultimate wellness. What this post will be, is a truth I've known and trained for the past 14 years.

It's about the core of health.

I've worked with hundreds of people over the last 18 years, all wanting something about of their fitness journey. I love it, truly. It brings me a live to see people WANT change of any kind, and be willing to put the work in for it. But what is always so difficult is when we don't prioritize spiritual health in the process - all I find is a never ending pursuit of some illusive goal of something better.

Now we have social media - so often I see women (and men /teens) chasing another women's body and it's just never enough. We don't even know how to hear Gods voice for ourselves, but we know that Dr. Sally Whatshername said if you just take this pill, inject that thing, do her 6 week course then you'll have the body of your dreams.

Cool, then what?

We currently have a society completely consumed with optamizing our exteriors.....while our hearts and minds become absolutely consumed, our souls suffer.

When's enough enough? How do we ACTUALLY become CONFITENT?

Surrendered Heart.
Renewed Mind.
Body Follows.

Surrendered Heart. Learn how to humble yourself and get on your knees before God. Seek HIS face, HIS will for your body. Trust me, He has one. Will it come at the cost of what you think you want? Maybe - but can I 100% Promise you will be overjoyed with the results, yeah I can.

LEARN to LISTEN, not just talk about what you want - or fill your Pinterest board full of arms, butts, and abs.

Renew your mind.
Take some time in your day to be still.
Focus on the word of God. Find a verse to mediate on daily - even if you don't subscribe to the Bible 100% there is plenty of LIFE GIVING verses to focus on and mediate on.
Pay attention to what you put in your ears, your eyes....what you consume will either bring life to you or it will rot your brain, distort your view of yourself and those around you - or give you opportunity to truly heal, grow and live CONFITENT.

Let your body follow -
When we can release our CONTROL ISSUES over our body, and instead show up daily, in our nutrition, our fitness - using the guidance of those we feel lead to - CHANGE HAPPENS. The frustration, shame, irritation, anxiety, that so often drags people into a gym or fitness program is often because we have our body on a timeline. We want to control so much of the outcome it sucks the fun right out of the body getting time and space to evolve. Show up. Let the results happen as your body does.

If you made it this far, thank you. This information isn't generally what most want to hear. But as someone who can not help but to tell the truth, it's my job to cut to the chase and refocus who ever chooses to follow me here.

Your Cravings Are Talking… Are You Listening? 👀🌿

What if your cravings aren’t weakness…
but communication?

Most of us were never taught this.
We were taught to fight cravings.
Ignore them.
Feel guilty about them.

But cravings are signals from your body.

And when you learn how to read them, everything changes.

Here’s how to decode them 👇
🍓 Craving something sweet?
Your blood sugar may have dipped.
You might be mentally drained.
You may not have eaten enough protein earlier.

Instead of processed sugar → try fruit paired with protein or fat.

Think apple + almond butter.
Berries + nuts.
A smoothie with greens + protein.
Your body wants energy — give it stable energy.

🧂 Craving something salty?
You might be dehydrated.
You might need minerals.
Stress burns through both quickly.
Before grabbing chips → drink water.
Add a pinch of mineral salt.
