Cohasset Triathlon

This past weekend, 327 young athletes from Cohasset and across metro Boston crossed the finish line at the Cohasset Kids Triathlon.

Our goal has always been simple: create a fun, safe, and well-organized event where every child can experience a sense of accomplishment. Watching so many smiling faces reminded us exactly why we do it.

Thank you to the Cohasset Swim Club, South Shore Music Circus, and our public safety team for making it all possible. We can't wait to do it all again next summer!

This Saturday, we'll welcome 350 young athletes to Cohasset, ages 6-13, for a morning of swimming, biking, running, and lots of high fives!

Nearly 70% of the participating families live outside of Cohasset, traveling from across Metro Boston to experience this special event and everything our community has to offer.

A big thank you to our partners, the Cohasset Swim Club and South Shore Music Circus, for helping make this event possible. We can't wait to see everyone on Saturday!

This year's Bib #1 goes to Ted McCarthy, an incredible 85-year-old athlete and the oldest competitor in the 2026 Cohasset Triathlon.

A Cohasset native, Ted now lives in Cape Elizabeth, Maine and is back for his second Cohasset Tri.
