Here we are again trying to map a gravel course during a wet and cold weather pattern.
4 days ago Burnt Cabin Saddle looked great(see below), and we had a course going over the saddle. But we now have to wait until Thursday's weather forecast goes by before we can confirm.
So be thinking about riding Burnt Cabin but we will confirm the course Friday.
Then prepare your gravel machine for a Sunday(19th) 10am start from behind Michael D's Eatery east end of Sherman Ave.

As always come self supported, fully ready for hills of gravel and maybe some muddy snow.

Stay tuned for April 19th Hilly Nilly Gravel course.

Next week our 2026 season fully kicks off with our normal 4 rides per week schedule.

1.) All rides are free. We just ask that you please sign our safety waiver at https://cdacycling.club

2.) Membership is $25/year. Only members may purchase kit and make donations. CDACC is a 501(c)7 sports club.

A few more weeks to cram some indoor trainer rides or slushy outdoor rides before our first group ride of 2026.

We will be meeting at Workhorse at 1324 E. Sherman Ave. (for every ride)

With just over a week until the first Hilly Nilly Gravel Ride for 2026. Gather your stuff, have your wet winter gear ready and clean the bike so it can get muddy again.

We have several course options but it's going to be around 30 miles plus or minus depending on weather. We'll start behind Michael D's Eatery at 10am on Sunday the 15th.

Here is the first course option and we will take photos and update as the week goes along. The Alder Creek turn-a-round is always weather dependent and up to each individual rider just how far you want to go before turning around.
