KROC MASTERS OPEN WATER SWIM and ZONE OPEN WATER CHAMPIONSHIP FOR 2026

The Coeur d'Alene Tubbs Hill Open Water Swim Event is seeking volunteers to provide Kayak/SUP swim support for July 18th [6:30-10:0AM]. This event hosts ~125 swimmers for a point-to-point swim around Tubbs Hill. The swim begins at the main McEuen Park (2nd Street Boat Launch) and ends at Sanders Beach (distance around Tubbs Hill is 1.3 miles).

Unload Kayak/SUP Gear around 6:30 AM
Park Car at City Hall Parking Lot-Walk 1/4 Mile to Start and 1/4 Mile from Finish
Kayak/SUP Swim Support Team Meets at 7 AM for Kayak/SUP Swim Support Safety Briefing
Swim Event Start at 7:45
Kayak/SUP Swim Support Team Will Follow Swimmers Along the Course
At the Conclusion of the Event, you can Either Paddle Back to the start OR Walk Back to Your Car and Drive to Sanders Beach to Retrieve your WaterCraft
All Volunteers Must Have Invasive Species Sticker, Whistle, Coast Guard Approved PFD

IRONMAN 2026 CDA is still desperately in need of more volunteers to help with kayak/ canoe/paddleboard support.

The event is Sunday, June 21. The kayak timeline is early, but you are done early. 4:30am -8:30am.
