We counted, collected data, noted siltation, and hypothesized about brown trout success rates. 🙌 🎣

How lucky are we to have the support and expertise of our local scientific community?

(That's a rhetorical question, but we feel like it deserves an answer--
we are SO PHENOMENALLY LUCKY!)

On Friday, Mr. Tony Mong, big game biologist from , came and shared his expertise on game herds, migration routes, CWD, and the amazing wild places in our back yard. Thank you Tony!

In November, our class placed eyed brown trout eggs in 3 locations in the Shoshone River watershed.
One of the coolest days we've had "doing real science" in our classroom without walls!

Special thanks to Sam Hochhalter and the amazing fish biologist crew who helped us and taught us so much!
