Cape Pirates Rugby Club

Cape Pirates Rugby Club Cape Pirates Rugby (CPR) Club is Brevard’s only youth rugby league Furthermore, two of our seniors have enlisted in the armed services.

CPR’s mission is to create an environment that builds character and athleticism while fostering sportsmanship and community in a fun, safe, and inclusive atmosphere. We pride ourselves on being a community league, where no child is turned away based on income or experience. Most of our first time players walk onto the pitch hardly knowing what rugby is, and by the end of the first game they are co

nverts into the familial sport and club. Yet, even as our club expands our vision remains the same, to build our youth in gentlemen (and now ladies) who reach out to their community, build character, and learn to play a sport and their lives with integrity. Our program strives to initiate collegiate relationships and generate academic opportunities through scholarship and can boast to having over 50% of our senior athletes were awarded scholarship opportunities to continue their education and play rugby at the Division 1A collegiate level in 2015. This is a testament to our coaching philosophy as well as rugby’s principle elements of Teamwork, Respect, Discipline and Integrity, Sportsmanship, Solidarity, and Enjoyment.
