This was an awesome weekend and I am extremely proud of the effort these young ladies gave over this three days period.

We learned a lot , but most of all we learned a lot about ourselves and a lot about each other. With no cellphones, the young ladies spent a LOT OF TIME talking to each other.

On the way home, they had their cellphones, but I heard the young ladies talking about the other schools and some of their opponents. They talked about how to play them, some of their strengths and weaknesses.

I am really excited about our progress and hopefully it will carry over into this basketball season.

Special Thanks to Mrs. Jessica Valuckus, Mrs. Sheila Blattner, Coach Leekell Buttry, & Coach Katherine Barret, for making this retreat a special event.
