It’s all too common for parents to go into a Facebook parent group and highly recommend the swim lessons that “finally clicked” for their 4-6 year old. It gives us great concern to consider the number of summers and poolside vacations that these children experienced while unskilled. It’s hard to learn new things without being challenged to a certain level. Many kids will cry if challenged and that is ok. If you are taking the time and investing in swim lessons, please make sure to find a program that helps your child to find air.

Marissa George has been serving the Cocoa community since 2020 as a Certified Swim Safe Now Instructor.

Along with being an amazing Instructor, Marissa is also a swim mom! Both of her children are Swim Safe Now students. Her daughter successfully completed lessons as an infant and toddler and she is currently teaching her infant son 💙

When Marissa is not teaching Swim Safe Now Lessons, she is also a Rescue Certified SCUBA Diver and runs a SCUBA diving business with her husband 🤿

Marissa wants you to know that she is passionate about teaching, and will care for your kids as if they are her own. She always gives 100% to make sure every child feels safe and confident during lessons and is happy to answer any questions you may have.
