Yesterday was such an amazing event .

In my 10 years or so doing surf lessons I’ve never quite experienced the emotions I did yesterday. To volunteer for the event in Surfside Beach was one of the highlights of my surf instructing career.

There were peoples of all walks of life’s with varying handicapping conditions, some of whom haven’t walked in many years let alone gone in the ocean, whom participated in surfing with us.

We as surfers know the amazing healing qualities of the ocean and how it can heal us both physically and mental, and to be able to give this experience to someone whom may have never had a chance was priceless.

Super stoked to be a part of this great community of people whom come together for great causes like this ! And definitely something I’ll continue to be a part of.

Shoutout to for putting together such a great event .

Doing surf lessons is like therapy for me .

I’m always in a way better head space afterwards and it keeps me grounded.

If I’m having a bad day, I almost always feel better after “a day at the office “.
