In a small town, people might expect two families with two rodeo arenas to be rivals… especially when they’re both creating fall rodeo traditions.
But here, the opposite happened.
Instead of competing, the Steward and Veater families chose to come together. They combined their shared their passion and created something bigger than either family could have built alone: the HARVEST RODEO.
What could have been competition became collaboration. What could have divided our community brought us closer together.
More than a rodeo, the Harvest Rodeo celebrates family, friendship, tradition and Community Before Competition. Even our logo reflects that spirit, featuring George Veater on his bronco, Mad Max, honoring rodeo’s strength and heritage.
Thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, volunteered, competed, cheered or helped behind the scenes at our second annual Harvest Rodeo. Your support keeps this tradition alive.
Two arenas. Two families. One small town. And a community that proves we’re stronger together.
