A big THANK YOU to CHS Lady Jackets Lily Wright, Gracie Davis, Lilly Claire Lowe, and Sawyer Davis for volunteering their time today at Coalfield School to help with the Morgan County Schools Food & Nutrition Summer Meals Grab-N-Go program!

These young ladies spent part of their summer day carrying and handing out meals to members of our community, demonstrating what it means to serve others and give back. We are proud of the way they represent our school, our basketball program, and the Coalfield community both on and off the court.

Thank you for your willingness to help and for being great role models for younger students. Your servant hearts make a difference! 🧡🖤🏀

Had a great time celebrating Mattie Beard, Lilly Claire Lowe, and Lily Wright at Mayor Jacobs’ Night of Champions last night! We’re incredibly proud of these young ladies and all they’ve accomplished through their hard work, dedication, and commitment both on and off the court.

It was a special evening recognizing some outstanding student-athletes, and we’re thankful for the opportunity to celebrate their achievements. The future is bright for these Lady Jackets! 🖤🧡🏀

Very proud of the growth this team showed throughout the summer. We saw tremendous improvement, toughness, and togetherness every time we stepped on the court.

Now it’s back to the weight room and back to work. The goal is to keep getting better every day, on the court, in the classroom, and in our community.

A new season is on the horizon, and we couldn’t be more excited about the group that will represent Coalfield High School this year.

This team is built on hard work, sacrifice, accountability, and a commitment to something bigger than themselves. Every workout, every practice, every challenge, and every success will be faced together as we chase our goals as one family.

We can’t wait to see what this group accomplishes on and off the court during the 2026-2027 season.

Today we had the privilege of presenting a donation from Melanie’s Mission to Morgan County Mutts. ❤️

Greg Addington is such an important part of the Coalfield community, and this season we were honored to donate the proceeds from our home game against Sunbright in memory of his wife, Melanie.

Melanie had a special love for animals, and we know she would be proud to see her legacy continue through helping animals in need. Through Greg’s dedication and the support of our community, her memory lives on by making a difference in the lives of others, both people and pets alike.

Thank you to everyone who supported this cause and helped us give back in Melanie’s honor. 🐾
