Central Valley Cricket Club

Central Valley Cricket Club CVCC was originally founded in 1966 & has about 50+ players & 3 teams in different divisions in NCCA.

Central Valley Cricket Club (CVCC) officially came into existence around the end of year 1966. Back in those days, cricket was not common in the US and therefore CVCC struggled to maintain a regular team and an official home ground for the club. In 1996, after many struggles, CVCC was finally able to recruit enough regular members who loved to play the beautiful game of cricket and was able to es

tablish a ground/field in Clovis, CA. Initially, tennis ball cricket was what started this group, but it has now transformed into leather ball or hard ball cricket. As time went on, number of players went up and regular games started to take place. Fast forward to today, CVCC has officially been a part of Northern California Cricket Association (NCCA) for nearly 50 years. Currently CVCC has about 45 regular members who participate in summer leagues, winter leagues, weekend tournaments, NCCA tournaments, BACA tournaments, & practice games with other social cricket clubs, etc. Players of all skill levels are welcomed to join CVCC and play the game of cricket.

CVCC Aces had a good start to play off games after securing 3rd spot in A division.
Aces bowled well and got opposition out on 117 thanks to Abhi’s excellent spell taking 3 crucial wickets. Aces wobbled early in chase and were down 25/5 but experienced Preet played a match winning knock of 66 not out; in partnership with Abhi and Manjinder to see the team through.
