For those of you that still need to register for league, Darrell will be in the office tonight during his league games. Tomorrow night Jackie will be in the office and Thursday night. Kim will be in the office. Please get your teams registered as we are bumping up against the custom and the Fourth of July weekend.

What a weekend of softball as teams from across New Mexico and West Texas came together to compete, honor a legend, and celebrate the game that Guy Leeder helped build.
From clutch home runs and game-saving defensive plays to outstanding leadership and relentless effort, these athletes earned their place on the 2026 Guy Leeder Memorial Invitational All Tournament Teams.

Being selected to the All Tournament Team is a reflection of outstanding performance, dedication to teammates, and the ability to rise to the moment when it matters most.

The Consolation Division was anything but a consolation prize. Throughout the weekend, teams battled through adversity, bounced back from tough losses, and continued competing with pride, grit, and determination.

These teams embodied everything the Guy Leeder Memorial Invitational is about, competitive softball, sportsmanship, perseverance, and honoring the legacy of those who helped build our softball community.

Another outstanding weekend of softball is in the books as some of the best teams from New Mexico and West Texas gathered at the Guy Leeder Softball Complex in Clovis, New Mexico, where the Big Dawgs come to play.
Teams from across the region descended upon Clovis to compete for championships, challenge themselves against top-tier competition, and honor the legacy of one of Clovis softball's true pioneers, Guy Leeder. This year's tournament also carried special meaning as teams remembered a young player whose impact on our softball community will never be forgotten.

Congratulations to West Texas Nine on capturing the championship and adding their name to the proud history of the Guy Leeder Memorial Invitational. Their path to the title was anything but easy, as an inspired Los Gallos team battled with tremendous heart while playing in remembrance of Jonah Matthews. 💙 RIP Lil Fella. #15 💙

In the end, the tournament accomplished exactly what it was meant to do:
⚾ Honor a legend.
⚾ Remember a young life gone too soon.
⚾ Bring our softball family together.
The legacy of #19 and the memory of #15 were honored the best way possible; On the softball field.
