🎳💙 THIS IS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE PART OF SOMETHING SPECIAL. 💙🎳

Today was one of those moments that reminds us why we love what we do. Seeing some of our former youth bowlers come back to visit, watching our older kids laugh, play arcade games, and spend time together—it truly means more than words can say. 🥹❤️

As coaches, there is nothing better than seeing our bowlers having fun on and off the lanes, supporting one another, staying connected, and building friendships that go beyond bowling. 🎳🫶

This isn’t just about strikes, spares, scores, or trophies.

It’s about the friendships.
It’s about the memories.
It’s about watching these kids grow together.
It’s about knowing that even when they move on, they still have a place here. ❤️

We may have started as a bowling team, but we’ve become something so much bigger.

🏆 We are a team.
💙 We are a community.
❤️ We are a giant bowling family.

And seeing our former bowlers come back and our current bowlers welcome them with open arms reminds us that once you’re part of this family, you’re always part of this family. 🥹🎳

We are incredibly proud of every single one of our kids. Keep making memories, keep supporting each other, and most importantly—keep having fun! ❤️🎳

Congratulations to my granddaughter Ava for her personal best of 163. Bowling since January 2026, she has come along at a wonderful pace. Her game goal is 75 pins and she outdid herself today. Congratulations!!!

🎳 WELCOME TO A NEW SEASON, YOUTH BOWLERS! 🎳

Today marks the beginning of another exciting season, and all of your coaches are so excited to be on this journey with you! ❤️

This season isn’t just about scores, strikes, or picking up spares. It’s about growing — as bowlers and as people. We want you to learn, challenge yourself, build confidence, and most importantly, have fun!

This year, we’re going to work on getting our mechanics down, learning new techniques, trying things we’ve never tried before, and discovering what each of you is capable of. There may be times when something doesn’t work right away, and that’s okay! Every mistake is an opportunity to learn and every challenge is a chance to get better.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Don’t be afraid to try something new. And don’t be afraid to make mistakes. That’s how we grow.

Our biggest goal this season is for every bowler to look back at the end and say:

“I became a better bowler, I became a better person, and I had an amazing time doing it.” 💙🎳

We believe in every single one of you, and we’re proud to have you as part of our bowling family.

First week of league is in da books!!! Welcome to all the new families joining YBC - Youth Bowling of Clovis and all the returning families. It was great to see all of you.

Thanks to Ashley Sarment for being patient with the league as we got everything organized. You are a great house manager and we appreciate you. Huge thanks to Chris Skelton, Anne Marie Skelton, and Chris Pitts for coming thru to assist with the USBC certifications. Your help was much appreciated. Thanks to my left and right hand coaches, Craig Torres and Teniya Táye for stepping up and getting the bowlers organized. Congratulations to Brandi Baldwin on her new role as YBC Secretary/Treasurer (she was volun-TOLD 😁). And thanks to all the YBC Youth Leaders - Dominic A., Jacob F., Kaiden M., Brandon T. for being in attendance and introducing yourselves.

As a reminder, starting next week, league fees will be $17. Lucky Strike will take credit card payments if paid in FOUR WEEK increments ($68). Pay envelopes will be prepared with team/bowler's information. REMINDER: only the YBC Secretary will complete the envelopes. Complete the payment information on the pay receipt ONLY.

We look forward to seeing everyone next week for more bowling, fun, and friendship. Don't forget to bring a friend (or two!).
