‼️SHOW DATE & LOCATION UPDATE‼️
We want to take a moment to update everyone regarding our upcoming September show.
Our show was originally scheduled for September 4th & 5th at the Great Smoky Mountains Expo Center in White Pine, Tennessee. Unfortunately, due to several scheduling conflicts involving members of our show staff, including announcing, registration, and barn help, we found ourselves in a position where those dates were simply no longer workable.
We explored our options and would have loved to move our White Pine show to another weekend. Unfortunately, there were no other available dates at the Expo Center that worked around our schedule and other events already taking place.
After looking at everything, we felt the best option was to move the show back to Wise, Virginia, on Saturday, September 26th. This is the date and location that allows our crew to come together and still put on the quality show we want to provide for our exhibitors and spectators.
We completely understand that Wise does not offer the same amenities as White Pine, particularly when it comes to barn stalls, and we know that may be disappointing or inconvenient for some of our exhibitors. We hear you, and we understand. This decision wasn’t made because we don’t recognize those differences—it was simply a matter of working with the options available to us and choosing what would allow us to still have the show.
We have truly enjoyed being at White Pine and absolutely hope to return. Finding dates that work for our staff, the facility, our exhibitors, and around the many other horse shows and events on the calendar can sometimes be a challenge. Unfortunately, this year the pieces just haven’t lined up the way we had hoped.
At the end of the day, our goal is to continue putting on enjoyable, well-run shows for our horse community. Sometimes that means making adjustments and doing the best we can with the circumstances in front of us.
