What an incredible day getting to watch lil man do what he loves.

I love watching him work hard and having to work through excelling at times following up with little mistakes that cost points on the board. This is something that every competition shooter is all too familiar with. Watching him smile at the end today as he smoked his last stage is such a perfect reminder that this is all about learning and having fun.

Started the day out rough with a magazine failure on stage 1, but all in all it was a pretty good match!

As always, Tommy put on an outstanding course of fire at the Atlantic Coast Regional PRS Match at the Clinton House Plantation.

Just can’t beat how well my rifle sits in this MPA Matrix Pro II or how smooth my MPA Elite Action is.

Grateful to be able to get out and do something I love with some great people.

2026 MPA Spring Shootout Recap -

Cool Acres put on a great and challenging course of fire. 90 second par times are new to me and proved to be challenging at first.

Day 1 - Nerves definitely got the best of me starting out. Started the day out with a clean stage, followed directly behind putting the wrong data on my card and on my rifle for stage 2 to drop all 10 on the next stage 🙄. It was an uphill fight from there. Ended up dropping 43 shots on day 1.

Day 2 - Settled in my grove. Wind picked up throughout the day but I was generally on point. Stage planning and executions were much better leaving me with only dropping 19 on Day 2.

Really starting to learn this .308 and what it does in different wind speeds/directions.

Very excited to finish out the season and see where we stand 💪🏼

Absolutely love my Master Piece Arms Matrix Pro II. My rifle couldn’t be anymore solid on props and stages!

Well, it definitely wasn’t the finish I’d hoped for. Alabama Precision put on a great match with a tough course of fire. High winds to finish out day 2 made it even more sporty!

Got a couple weeks to sort out some kinks in my rifle and off to Master Piece Arms in Georgia 💪🏼
