Our first help clinic is today from 3:30-5:00 in the CIS Gym!

This is open to anyone interested in auditioning for the team and allows time to learn and practice some skills with coaching staff and existing members of the team.

With one week left to auditions here is the third and final clue to the theme for our very first season of Winter Guard! Any guesses?
(Hint: no it isn’t frozen🥶)

We had a great senior night this past Friday and got to celebrate our guard seniors Boston and Jenny!

Boston has been on the color guard for three years and served as a captain during this fall season.

Jenny has been on the color guard for two years now and also served as a captain during this fall season.

These two have dedicated so much time and energy into this program and we’re so proud to recognize them and their hard work!

The Cardinal Pride Color Guard had a great time at Carrollton Band Day this weekend!

We started the day with our 8th grade team joining the 8th grade band in parade competition. Our middle school group took 2nd place for their parade class!

The high school guard team had a great indoor show. We finished 5th for class 4A indoor guard among some tough competitors for the day!

The high school band ended the day on our day with our field show taking 5th for 4A field competition. Again we scored very well, but were against strong competitors.

Next up: Smith-Cotton this Saturday🐉🔥⚔️

We have officially finished this seasons color guard camp!

This is a time where we typically learn basics, technique, and warm up routines to get us ready for band camp where we learn our actual show. The team changed things up this time by learning their basics ahead of time and tackling both warm up routines and basically the first third of their fall show at guard camp!!

The guard has started their season off so strong by doing this. They are determined, hard working, and engaged in everything they do.
