❤️ Meet our beloved pet sheep!
🐑 Soleil is a wool sheep who had been bottle-fed as a lamb, so is very used to human interaction and will come right up for treats, pets, and brushes!
🐑 Jinora is a Katahdin Hair Sheep, who had very limited experiences with people. When she was a lamb, she would keep her distance from us. I went in with her every single day to just sit and talk to her, until one day she finally approached me and let me pet her! She became the snuggliest little lamb, and would even sit on my lap! Now she will approach you and accept treats when she feels safe.
🕉 When we visit the sheep, we practice mindfulness by being aware of our own bodies in the sheep space, and noticing how they respond to our energy.
