In the last couple of weeks we have honored two of our seniors, Brooke Marx and Lilly Truchon, who have earned some well-deserved awards.

Brooke received the Scholar-Athlete Award from the Hamilton Athletics Department for her outstanding work both on the field and in the classroom!

Lilly received the Kiwanis Award from the Kiwanis Club of Utica. Lilly was one of 13 athletes from six colleges around the Mohawk Valley to be recognized, including Hamilton Men’s Hockey player, Luke Tchor ‘27.

Our 2025 Division III Scholars of Distinction are first-years Rose Idone, Katie Pinto, and Nina Byrne, and junior Reilly Loughman! These student-athletes have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester.

We announced our three team awards for the 2025 season at our banquet last weekend. These three athletes were honored as voted by their teammates. Congrats to Sammy Higgins, Becky Felker, and Reilly Loughman!

The Buff & Blue Award
This award is presented to the player whose leadership, dedication, attitude, and performance has had the greatest impact on the Hamilton Field Hockey team this season.

12th Player Award
This award is presented to the player who exhibits great attitude; gives 100% effort at all time; and has made significant, but sometimes unnoticed, contributions to the field hockey team. This is Becky’s third time winning this award.

Continental Award
This award is presented to the ultimate teammate; the person who enhances the team with their positive attitude both on and off the field. Their love and enthusiasm for the team inspires everyone to be better and work harder. This is Reilly’s second time winning this award.
