Got the pups out last night in the cool weather. They took one track and lacked confidence in treeing very hard until I got there. They are all hunting good and gaining everytime out now. We did hunt the night before with no trees made.

Interesting episode to check out. I share some, not so main stream opinions, with Luke like foundation puppy training, amount of time spent, and the bond. Which all are huge with a hunting dog and allows you to get so much more out of them. While at the same time, he has some opinions that go against some of my core beliefs. Like a dog’s bloodline is such a big deal to me. Maybe that proves that he is that much better of a dog man than I. Or does that mean we have that much of a difference in terrain and game density, that it makes it an almost completely different playing fields 🤷🏼‍♂️. I don’t know, but nevertheless I really enjoyed listening to his concepts on what works good for him.

In this week's epiosde I am joined by Luke Worthington. Luke is the president of the Wyoming Houndsman Association. He is a lion guide, and dedicated bobcat hunter. Luke explains his passion for bobcats over lions. We talk about his mixed pack and why he doesn't have an intact dog on his place. Luke has some opinions that not everyone will agree with but they can certainly learn from.
