Taken from The Daily Clintonian, 23 Sep 1935....Back during Clinton's Golden Age of Football. I wasn't familiar with Tony Campagnoli, but obviously he was one heck of a player.
- Ettore Antonini went on to All Big Ten and All American honors at Indiana University, and was drafted in the very first NFL draft in 1936 by the Chicago Cardinals. He played in the East-West Shrine game and the College All-Star game against the Pro's. He was a successful longtime Head Football Coach at Muncie Central. Member of the Indiana Football Hall of Fame.
- Chris Dal Sasso coached South Bend Central for 17 years, winning the State Championship in his last year, 1951. He became administrative assistant to the IU athletic director in 1957, and was named associate athletic director at IU in 1975. Inducted into Indiana Football Hall of Fame.
- Tony Campagnoli played as an outstanding lineman on back to back State Football Championship teams for the Clinton Wildcats in 1932 and 1933. During his four years, CHS lost only 2 games and outscored their opponents 954 to 72. He went on to coach football many years at Elkhart Central, helping to coach State Championship teams in '63, '68, and '70. Member of the Elkhart Hall of Fame.
