❗️Member/Guest Update and Results ❗️
Thank you to everyone who came out for a great Member/Guest weekend! The fun started on Friday night with our Horse Race and continued throughout the weekend! We had a great turnout with 50 Teams participating in the new 2-Day format. Check out the fun below!
The Horse Race is always one of my favorite events! We had a wide variety of players and it was a fun night that went all the way until dark! Congratulations to our winners, Scott & Rachel Bryant! They made some great putts and won several chip-offs on their way to their win. Also congratulations to Ted & Amy Weaver and Ian & Amber who tied for 2nd and made the Finale.
While the weather was in question heading towards the weekend, the Member/Guest tournament went off relatively smoothly. The new format, while I know different than in the past, seemed to be very popular among most of the players and think we will have a great turnout for the event next year! The Men’s Division played 6 holes of Shamble/Bramble, 6 holes of Best Ball, and 6 holes of Scramble each day putting a new twist on the event! The newly added Ladies’ Division played 9 holes of Shamble and 9 holes of Scramble both days. Both divisions were 2-day events this year with flights broken after the 1st day. Each flight included a Skins game on the 2nd day as well.
Christina, Shawn and the entire Clinton Country Club HOUSE staff did a great job with the dinner Saturday night and navigating the chaos of the short rain delay on Sunday. This went a long way in making this weekend feel special. Thank you to all of our participants and to everyone that played a part in making this weekend a success!
