FAQs at The Cage
1. How do I book?
Search us on the booksy app and book your time slot on there. You are able to see all available time slots for whatever day you want to go, then securely check out through there.
2. I booked 30 seconds ago but it says unconfirmed, how do I know I am good for my session?
Until your session is manually confirmed, it will say unconfirmed on booksy. This is to cut down on people booking with the wrong option (ex: book as a member or trainer, but do not have a membership). It may take a few minutes to get your session confirmed. I am only one person and cannot unfortunately respond and confirm a session within 5 seconds of it being booked. Sometimes, it takes up to half an hour. I do my best to recognize when bookings occur, but I also have a family, other obligations, and jobs and it just isn’t realistic that my phone is in my hand 24/7 I promise I will get it done as quickly as I can. After it is confirmed on booksy, you will receive a confirmation text to whatever phone number that you used to book on booksy with, so make sure that is the correct phone number.
If you haven’t gotten a confirmation 10 minutes before your session then please give us a call.
3. I called but got no answer is The Cage even open.
Our hours online correlate with the hours that you can book The Cage. There isn’t staff onsite for booking and checking out. But you can book 7 days a week 8am-9pm. If you call and need help, but don’t get an answer please leave a message or send us a text. If you don’t leave a message of any kind I assume it was a wrong number or spam. I will not call you back if you don’t leave a message of some kind.
4. Are there pitching machines?
Yes. There is a taller machine set up for baseball and a shorter machine set up for use with softballs. The softball machine can be used for fast pitch or slow pitch practice. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE ATTACHMENTS on the machine. There is no reason to put the softball attachment on the baseball machine. If you don’t move the whole piece up it not only ruins the softball chute, but if you’re hitting softballs, you are never hitting them from the angle the baseball machine throws them at you. In the past there was only one machine, but with two now, it’s much more realistic for softball players to come in and practice utilizing the softball machine. There are balls provided for both machines. Please ONLY use those dimpled balls in the machines.
5. What do I do when I’m done?
Please pick up what you used, and don’t leave balls and other items out all over the place. It isn’t fair to the people who come in after you to have to clean up before they can even begin their session. Also be sure that you’re checking the bathroom lights before you leave. Way too often those are getting left on overnight or even for more than a day at a time. As you leave, be sure to lock the door on your way out.
