Fitpro 5k is tomorrow!
Here is some important information to make race day as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
📍 RACE DAY INFORMATION
Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026
Race Start Time: 9:00am
Race Location: Main Avenue just north of the Sawmill Museum which is located at 2231 Grant St in Clinton, IA
Please plan to arrive early to allow plenty of time for parking, packet pickup (if you didn’t pick up Friday), using the restrooms, and getting to the starting line.

🎽 PACKET PICKUP
Friday Packet Pickup:
📍 FitPro
2318 N. 3rd Street
Clinton, IA
🕓 Time: 4-6pm
You can also pick up your packet on race morning.
Race Day Packet Pickup:

🕓 7:00-8:30am
🚗 DESIGNATED PARKING
Please park in the designated parking area that you will find in the attached map. We will also posted signs on Main Avenue and 23 Ave North. If you have crossed the railroad tracks then you have missed the designated parking area.
Important: Please do not park pass the tracks.
We encourage everyone to arrive early, as parking may take additional time. Please allow enough time to park and walk to the registration/start area.
🏃 START LINE
The race will begin on Main Avenue
Please be at the starting area no later than 8:45am
🏁 FINISH LINE
The race will finish at the start line.
After crossing the finish line, please continue through the finish chute and follow directions from volunteers.
⏱️ RACE RESULTS
Race results will be available at www.fitpro5k.com or you can visit the Timing Tent.
Awards will be presented for:
1st, 2nd and 3rd Place for each age category.
Awards Ceremony: Will be held after the last runner crosses the finish line. If you are unable to stay we will notify you if you placed.
📈 MOST IMPROVED RUNNER CHALLENGE
This year, we are also rewarding improvement!
If you ran the FitPro 5K in 2024 or 2025, make sure you show us your previous race time and this year's race time. We will be recognizing the top 14 most improved runners.
The top 14 Improved runners will receive a custom FitPro 5k Metal Display Board.
🚻 RESTROOMS
Restrooms will be available near the starts lines
💧 WATER / HYDRATION
A water station will be placed near the turn around marker of the race route.
Additional water and refreshments will be available after the race.
🩺 SAFETY & MEDICAL INFORMATION
If you need medical assistance during the race, please notify the nearest volunteer or race official.
Please remember:
Stay aware of your surroundings.
Follow all volunteer and police instructions.
Watch for uneven surfaces and traffic areas.
If you are wearing headphones, please keep the volume low enough to hear race officials and emergency instructions.

The race will take place rain or shine unless conditions create a safety concern.
Please check the forecast and dress appropriately for race morning.
📝 IMPORTANT REMINDERS
Arrive early!
Wear your race bib where it is clearly visible.
Use designated parking areas only.
Follow volunteer and race official instructions.
Make sure you know where the start line is before race time.
