Here’s to the goalkeepers on International Goalkeeper Day ⚽️🥅🧤

The ones who play the role on the field for which most don’t volunteer.

The ones who willingly dive toward incoming cleats or throw their bodies into midair to make a stop.

The ones who often take the heat when a goal is scored, and who have to have the shortest memory when they are.

The ones who are the not-always-talked-about players on the field, but the ones who hold a big responsibility as the last line of defense.

The ones who don’t get the glory of scoring goals, but find just as much satisfaction in stopping them.

They’re brave.
They’re bold.
They’re strong.
They’re mentally tough.

They’re GKs.
