📣 Miss Shen Softball is Looking for New Board Members! 🥎

Miss Shen Softball is seeking dedicated volunteers to join our Board of Directors and help shape the future of our organization.
We currently have a couple of open board positions, and several of our longtime board members will be transitioning off the board over the next year as their daughters age out of the program. To ensure a smooth transition and continue providing the best possible experience for our players and families, we are looking for individuals who are passionate about youth softball and willing to get involved.

🥎 Miss Shen Softball is Looking for 10U Travel Coaches! 🥎

Do you have a passion for teaching the game, developing young athletes, and helping create a positive softball experience? Miss Shen Softball is now accepting coaching resumes and background information for individuals interested in coaching a 10U Travel Team for the 2026-2027 season.

Interested candidates should submit a brief write-up outlining their coaching experience, softball background, and any other relevant information to:

🏆 Congratulations to our Miss Shen 8U Summer Splash Champions! 🏆

A huge congratulations to the East Greenbush Express Diamonds on capturing the championship at this weekend’s Miss Shen 8U Summer Splash! 🥎

The Rotterdam Diamonds put together an outstanding tournament run and finished as our well-deserved Runner-Up. Congratulations to their players, coaches, and families on a great weekend of softball!

Thank you to all of the teams, coaches, players, umpires, volunteers, and families who helped make the tournament a success. We loved watching these young athletes compete, learn, and have fun all weekend long.

The Miss Shen Softball family is deeply saddened by the passing of Jack C***s.

Many Miss Shen players and coaches were fortunate to learn from Jack through his pitching clinics and support of our program. He shared his knowledge, encouraged young athletes, and helped countless players grow both on and off the field.

We will remember Jack for his kindness, generosity, and the positive impact he had on the Miss Shen softball community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.

Monday June 29th through Thursday July 2nd
Times: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
Please arrive at 7:30 am on Day 1 for check in
Ages: 12U - 16U (birth years 2009-2014)

Daily schedule:
8:00 - Ready to go with coaches
8:05 - 8:55 - College coach presentation
9:00 - 12:55 - Drills at stations every 40 minutes - scrimmages
1:00 - Pickup at Miss Shen

This camp is held right at the Miss Shen Softball fields at Clifton Common in Clifton Park

🥎 Hayner Academy Softball Camp at Miss Shen Softball

Looking for a great summer softball opportunity? Registration is now open for the Hayner Academy Softball Camp!

📅 July 13–17
⏰ 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Daily
👧 Ages 8–14
📍 Miss Shen Softball Fields at Clifton Common

Campers will focus on individual skill development each morning followed by games each day. In the event of poor field conditions, camp will be held indoors at The Sports Barn in Halfmoon.

The camp features an outstanding coaching staff with high school, college, and former collegiate players from around the area.

💲 Registration:• $175 for Miss Shen players• $195 for non-Miss Shen players

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing moms, grandmothers, stepmoms, and mother figures in our Miss Shen Softball Community!

Thank you for the countless rides to practices and games, the packed snacks and equipment bags, the late-night laundry, the words of encouragement, and the endless support you give our players every single day.

Miss Shen Softball would not be the special community it is without all that you do behind the scenes. Today we celebrate YOU!

Yesterday, Sunday May 3rd, our Softball community came together for an incredible day of softball and support at our Strike Out Cancer event. 🥎

A huge thank you to all of the teams who participated across every age group and helped make the day such a success. Your support, sportsmanship, and willingness to be part of something bigger than the game is what made this event so special.

We’d also like to extend a very special thank you to our umpires, who generously volunteered their time throughout the day. Your support and dedication helped make this event possible, and we truly appreciate all you do.

Because of the amazing generosity of our teams, families, volunteers, and supporters, we were proud to raise over $4,000 for The Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med. What an incredible impact from one day at the ballfield.
