(Our Robin Hood attempt at keeping our souls clean.) In 1996 the term Information Highway popped into my existence. Y2K was coming we' survive it but didn't know it yet. The 90's was coming to an end,and I had an impending sense of doom. The information Highway was coming, WAS HERE. and I didn't know how to turn on a computer. I knew 2 things. Highways are built to pass over people..quickly, and that I was missing out. Stuck as a coffee shop manager with very little hope for more. Thanks to a program in Delaware sponsored by Joe Biden & in conjunction with Computer Aid Inc. I was selected for a 6-week MSoffice training course that would change my life. I quickly went from stocking shelves to owning stock. This group is my "give back" my fulfilling of the noble promise (Bakari) I made the day I graduated that class; to find ways to provide a foot in the digital door for anyone willing to enter. We are DIGITAL DIVIDE /Digital Literacy without FEAR
currently providing 6-week courses for children 7-13 yr olds in partnership with Lansdowne Boys & Girls Club. We offer:
Javascript thru Minecraft Modding
Coding thru First Lego League Robotics,

advice (when asked for)

ASK US ANYTHING!!! IF WE DON"T KNOW WE"LL FIND OUT TOGETHER! Most importantly we want you to know that technology is nothing to fear, that the Information Highway has an on-ramp, & that the road starts here.
