Today marked the 15th Annual Robin Craft Simpson Tournament, and what an incredible day it was. We were honored to welcome 24 teams with two full tee times, all coming together to celebrate someone who meant so much to Cliftondale Country Club and the Gunter family.

Robin’s love for this golf course, its people, and this community continues to be felt every day. Seeing so many golfers return year after year to honor her memory is something truly special.

A heartfelt thank you to George, Matt, and the entire Craft and Simpson family, along with all the friends, players, sponsors, and volunteers who continue to show up year after year and make this tournament what it is. Your love and support keep Robin’s legacy alive, and we are so thankful to be a part of such a meaningful tradition. Here’s to 15 years of honoring an amazing woman and the many more memories still to come.

Another beautiful sunrise over Cliftondale Country Club, captured by our greenskeeper, Colten. Mornings like this are a reminder that some of the best views on the course happen before the first tee shot, and we’re grateful to have them shared with us.

Please join us in extending our heartfelt condolences to Jason, Shawn, and the entire Helmintoller family on the loss of their beloved matriarch. After a courageous battle with cancer, she has now won the ultimate victory and is resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus, reunited with her beloved husband, Clyde. Please keep the Helmintoller family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

If severe storms move through our area today, please use extra caution on the golf course. Avoid standing under or near trees, as strong winds can cause limbs to fall without warning. If you hear thunder or see threatening weather approaching, head to the clubhouse or your vehicle immediately. Your safety is our top priority. Stay safe, everyone.
