I have next week off work and with Memorial day and mine and my wife's anniversary occurring that week anyway, I've decided to cancel pitching lessons for next Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday is open for lessons.

No photo of our hero, but Jojo pitched her first start today and got the W! Pretty impressive for a first start/complete game at 11u! And she has slowly earned this first start by coming in for relief and proving herself worthy in small doses to secure the confidence of the coaching staff to give her the opportunity. Kudos to the Armada Fastpitch staff for doing this the right way and giving this young lady a fair shot to earn her innings. And congratulations to Jo and her parents for staying humble, patient, and focused on developing the mechanics and the mindset to reach this goal! 👍👍
