GloveoftheGame At Glove of the Game, we give old baseball gloves new life so more people can experience the power of playing catch.

Catch settles the mind, opens conversation, and builds relationships. Our mission is to bring back just playing catch—one glove at a time.

Some gloves are old.

Some gloves are time machines.

This vintage Nokona G11 Jelly Sorelle model takes us all the way back to the 1950s — an era when baseball gloves were built to last, broken in through countless innings, and became part of the player who wore them.

Think about that.

This glove has been around for roughly 70 years.

We’ll never know every hand that shaped the leather, every ball that found its pocket, or every game that was played wearing it.

And that’s what makes restoring vintage gloves so special.

I’m not just cleaning up an old glove.

I’m bringing 1950s baseball history back to life.

Every stitch, every crease, every scar — it all tells a story. My job is to preserve that story while giving the glove the life it deserves for the next generation.

Have an old glove sitting in a closet, garage, or equipment bag? Don’t let its story end there.

Send it my way.

Let’s restore it, respect its history, and get it back on the field where it belongs.

Your glove has a story.
Let’s give it another chapter. ❤️⚾

The Guards didn’t get the win, but my son got something even better. ⚾❤️
Tonight was his first playoff baseball game, and seeing Cleveland playoff baseball through his eyes was something I’ll never forget.
The energy in the stadium, the roar of the crowd, the anticipation before every pitch, and the feeling that every play mattered. That’s the magic of postseason baseball.
The scoreboard didn’t go our way, but memories like this are bigger than a win or a loss. These are the moments that create lifelong baseball fans and remind us why we love this game.
Baseball has always been about more than what happens on the field. It’s about sharing experiences, creating traditions, and passing the game on to the next generation.
Every glove has a story. Tonight, another chapter was written.
What’s your favorite playoff baseball memory?

Before modern gloves looked like they do today, there was the Ball Hawk. 🧤⚾
This vintage Spalding No. 149 Ball Hawk Professional Model is a great example of baseball glove innovation in the late 1940s. Featuring the distinctive Ball Hawk design with a thumb and two finger stalls separated by lacing, these gloves were built to help create a deeper pocket and improve control long before today’s patterns became standard.
The “Professional” stamp in the palm and Ball Hawk branding on the pinky make this a standout piece of baseball history. Every wrinkle in the leather and every faded stamp is a reminder of the games, practices, and catches this glove has seen over the last 75+ years.
At Glove of the Game, we’re proud to preserve gloves like this because every glove has a story worth telling.
Would you add a vintage Ball Hawk to your collection or take it out for a game of catch?

Long before travel teams, showcase tournaments, and exit velocity readings, there were gloves like these.
Somewhere, someone learned to play catch with this Nokona G11. Another player likely carried that Spalding Ball Hawk to every game all summer long.
Today they were cleaned, conditioned, and preserved so those memories aren’t lost.
Every glove has a story.

A rare left-handed piece of baseball history. ⚾🧤
This Gambles Hiawatha 25-2031 Pro Maker Trapper is a glove you don’t come across every day, especially in a left-handed model. Built with the classic Trapper design, this vintage glove features a deep pocket, durable leather construction, and the timeless craftsmanship that made these old gloves special.
Years of catch, practices, and ballgames have shaped this glove’s character, and every crease tells part of its story. That’s what makes vintage baseball gloves so fascinating. They’re more than equipment. They’re snapshots of baseball history.
At Glove of the Game, we believe every glove has a story worth preserving, and this Hiawatha Trapper is a great reminder of why keeping these pieces of the game alive matters.
What’s the rarest glove you’ve ever found?

One more homestand. One more round of memories. ⚾️❤️

From Chase DeLauter stepping up to “Country Roads” 🎶, José doing José things, Slider bringing the energy, and spending another night at the ballpark with my son…

And then seeing Alex and me up on the big screen during the Fan Appreciation fireworks video. 🎆

Pretty cool feeling to look up and see yourselves become part of the night you came to enjoy.

And of course, we brought a few gloves with us. 🧤 Because what’s a Guardians game without a glove?

Baseball has a funny way of giving you memories that stick around long after the final out.

Someday, we probably won’t remember every score.

But we’ll remember the songs.
The fireworks.
The big swings.
The laughs.
And being there together.

Here’s to another Cleveland baseball season full of memories. ❤️⚾️

Love your glove. Love the game. Make the memories.
