If you receive a call that seems suspicious, hang up. Remember, Bradley County Sheriff's Office will NEVER call you and ask for money, for any reason. When you are called and the person on the other end says that "paying over the phone will protect you from prosecution or get you out of a warrant", it is 100% a scam. It is also worth noting that scammers can call from numbers you recognize or have in your contacts!

You should never give out personal information to anyone, if you can't verify their validity. If someone calls you stating they are from Bradley County Sheriff's Office, you can always call us to verify that the person you were talking to is legitimate.
