The OLA Athletic Association seeks to provide enjoyable extracurricular activities for the students of Our Lady of Angels School and teach the fundamentals of sports. Our athletic programs strive to develop sportsmanship, discipline, physical fitness, and teamwork with a focus on having fun. We are affiliated with CYO and abide by their bylaws in creating our athletic department. MEETINGS:

hletic Association is a volunteer organization and is always looking for new members. Our athletic program is primarily funded by participation fees and by revenue from tournaments and fundraisers. Parent involvement helps make our events a success and contributes to keeping our participation fees at a minimum.

COACHES NEEDED!!!

OLA Athletics is currently looking for coaches for ALL Fall sports!

We especially still need coaches for:
🏈 Rookie Tackle Football
🏐 Volleyball (ALL grades)
🏃 Cross Country
📣 Cheer

IMPORTANT:

We MUST have coaches in place before teams can be finalized.
👉 If we do not have coaches, we cannot have teams.

COACHING REQUIREMENTS

All coaches (head and assistant) must complete the following BEFORE participating in practices:

✅ Volunteer Application
✅ VIRTUS Training
✅ Background Check/Fingerprinting
✅ Concussion Awareness Training
✅ Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) Training
✅ Coaches Development Program (CDP)

Assistant coaches ages 16–17 are not required to complete VIRTUS.

If you plan to coach, please complete the coaching application and submit it ASAP.

We will be holding an important football meeting TONIGHT from 7:00–8:30 PM via Zoom.

If your child is planning to play 7th/8th grade tackle football this fall—or even if you're still considering it—we encourage you to attend!
