F**k it feels good to workout again!

Life just gets in the way at times. A little bit of Covid, a really fu***ng sh*tty work situation, kids, personal training…personal struggles…it all adds up.

I probably worked out a total of 10 times in the past three months, it is not been good for my mental health.

no bu****it, it’s all entirely my fault and I wasn’t able to overcome it on my own.

Here I am after 3 days this week (2 back to back)… I feel back on track.

My client and good friend Sam just finished his 20 week transformation challenge💥👏🏼 While there were many personal and life challenges along the way, he stayed the course and persevered.

For those of us in our mid-40’s and beyond, we know age adds to the challenge in altering body composition. Sam started at ~242lb, 21% body fat and finished out at ~232, 14% body fat. He lost about 18 lbs of fat, and gained 8.5 lbs of muscle!

My role was in structuring his workouts and personal training with him when our schedules allowed. There are “many ways to skin a cat,” and my approach for Sam was slow and steady progress. My hopes for him going forward is that he is able to maintain the progress he has made, and that this continues to motivate him to look and feel his best. Good work, Sam! 👊🏼

💪Hard Work Pays Off👍

Just 5-ish weeks in of learning how to deadlift and he is pulling 155 with ease.

Still needs some teaks with form, but he has come a long way from never deadlifting before!

How do you train on vacation? ☀️💪

Today was the last day I was able to train with onsite because he’s going on vacation for two weeks. 🛩

Typically that’s an issue for most trainer/client relationships. In this case, not so much. Glenn is still able to complete his workouts remotely while staying in close contact with me using my app!

Very convenient solution! 💯

Sidenote, here is Glenn knocking out 50 pound goblet squats! He had a kick ass workout today, nice job!
