Thhhhhhhhhats all folks!!! 2016 ARCA Truck season is a wrap. Final race recap and season recap. Overall Coyote Racing had an up and down 2016 but we fought through it all as a team and Even though we had our issues we still done pretty well. #26 (Me) Had an interesting final weekend, started off and the truck was JUNK, at the bottom of the charts in 1st hot laps, worked hard on it and got a little better in qualifying but still not good, Qualified P7 of 15. Kept working on it truck was bad loose. Won the Fast Heat Race truck was a bit better, Kept working on it and by feature had it much gooder but ended up on the tight side. Started P7 in the 125 lapper. By about lap 20 worked my way through the field and got Cody on the inside after he got loose to take the lead. Started to click laps off and went into turn 1 around lap 25-30 range and truck wouldn't turn, lost power steering so Shawn Szep got under me and I just let the inside go and relaxed into around 5th and made laps. Moved to 4th at the 1/2 way break. Restarted 4th, just got in a groove and clicking laps off saving energy. About 80 laps in it was time to Man up and get on the wheel. Slowly work my way to 2nd, tried to run with that 81 truck but with no power steering just had nothing for him so just wheeled her the best I could to hang on for 2nd. For the season points I moved back up and finished 2nd in Points. All in all happy with the results but had some issues this year that got me behind and chasing all year. The 32 Truck Brian Taylor had an up and down final race, starting P8 ended up getting a flat still fought hard working his way to 3rd. Unfortunately had an issue with a miss that got worse and had to retire to the pits on lap 108 ending up in 10th. As for his year, a great rookie year claiming ROOKIE of the YEAR along with a 5th place in points. The 99 truck only made a couple races this year, Lorain speedway with Rick Funnell behind the wheel doing a good job in his 1st Truck start, staying on lead lap until a couple laps before the checkers and got collected in a late race mishap. At Lake County the 99 had Jeremy Hill behind the wheel and he showed improvement all day long and come feature time he started towards the back but got comfortable in the truck and drove it up into the top 5. Unfortunately got involved in a couple race incidents that led to a questionable black flag and end of his night. But all in all he done a great job for the 1st time in the truck. So at the end of the day it was a pretty good season for Coyote Racing... Thanks to all that helped us this year... THAT'S A WRAP FOLKS!!!
W/ Pops, Bill J Carrier(Square),Rick Yatson, Richard Yatson, Jason Palmer, Brian Rosala, Jay Grega, Crystal Figueroa, Fran Gardner, Kathy Gardner, Virginia Gardner, Shawn Thompson, Tammy Thompson Hardman, John Thompson, Donna Jeanne, Frank Oriti, Dale Phillips, Dave Wallencheck, Christopher Maji, Chris Nicastro, Tony Staniszewski, and anyone else that I may have missed that either helped us or cheered us on. Looking forward to great things in 2017. Stay tuned, big news and additions coming to Coyote Racing!!! Congrats to Shawn Szep, Craig Herron and the entire 81 team for a great Championship season. That's a wrap for 2016.

Well it was an up and down Cavalcade at Lorain Speedway for Coyote Racing. My truck( #26) wasn't that good Saturday. Had a clutch slipping. But still managed to qualify 4th and win the Fast heat race. My crew got new clutch in it Saturday night while we Partied Hard COYOTE Style after the races and had a blast!!! Sunday comes and truck feels really good in hot laps. Start Feature in 8th, move up to 3rd quickly and start chasing down the leaders and RF rim breaks the center out and done some other damage, we managed to get it back out just to make some laps then motor starts acting up. Limped home to an 11th place. A lot of work to get it ready for the final race of the year at Lake County but we will be there. Brian Taylor in the 32 truck came from the back to win his heat then in feature missed a shift and fell to back of pack, started working his way back towards the front. Around the halfway break he lost the power steering. After the break he put his BIG BOY PANTIES on and manned up on the wheel and worked the 2nd groove doing a great job coming back up to 3rd!!! Now hopefully we can find the steering issue before next race. The #99 truck driven by Rick Funnell in his 1st ever Truck start had a rough up and down weekend. Had a few issues Saturday with mechanical problems. Worked hard to get truck fixed for Sunday and the truck was really fast for the 1st time out with it. He done a good job staying on the lead lap to the 1/2 way break. Unfortunately he had some front end body damage from early contact and towards the end of the race the #4 got sideways in turn two and he couldn't see him until to late and BOOM!!! Got some pretty significant damage so have to see if can be fixed for Lake County.

NEED HELP, been on phone all day. Anyone out there that can tow my Ambulance(It blew motor, just need Ambulance towed, not the trailer) from Mt Gilead, Ohio to my house in Parma. Its 103 miles. Best price I have so far is $300 but they dont know when they can get to it. Would like it picked up tomorrow. If you can do this for under $300 call me at 216-217-5038.

I feel like a dog chasing its tail right now... can't figure out what is going on. ARCA Truck has a brand new Ford 347SR Crate Motor, has a miss in it. Changed all the wiring, put another new ignition box in it, checked all the valves, got good consistent spark on all 8 cylinders. Yet miss wont go away. Motor runs hot as well, has all brand new cooling system with double bypass, tried ever size restrictor in it. Nothing seems to help, gets hot within minutes of cranking??? Never had any of these issues with my chevy motor. Same ducting and everything... only change was going to Ford Crate and now its nothing but issues. Should have stayed with Chevy. Definately not happy with spending $12000 on this Ford so far. Hopefully we figure out the issues soon. On top of that the Brakes of which were good before all of a sudden decide to start giving me issues, lose brakes within 10-15 laps, maybe the extra nose weight? But that shouldn't make that dramatic of a change??? Going in circles here... oh well keep searching. If anyone out there is really good with Fords in diagnosing engine misses and overheating. Could use the help. I live in Parma, would appreciate it.
