It’s that time of the year again! The Lake Forest Middle School Wrestling Team will be hosting our 6th Annual Bruin Invitational Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 19th, at Flagstone Golf Course. We are currently looking for Teams to play, so if you’re interested, contact us and we will get you entered. This is a four man select shot tournament. If you are unable to play, but would like to help support our program, we have several different sponsor levels for the tournament, and would love to have your business support. We have attached both the tournament flyer and sponsorship levels below. If you are interested in either or both, please reach out to Coach Ensminger ([email protected]) or Coach Russell ([email protected]) and we will be happy to answer any question that you may have. We will be holding a second parent meeting next Monday, July 20th, in the LFMS auditorium for those who were unable to attend the first meeting in June. The upcoming meeting will be at 6:30 PM. You do not have to attend this meeting if you made it to the first one.

Time to move on to our next appliance. This week’s item is a kitchen aid microwave hood combo. Bidding will remain open until Friday at 2 PM. Remember, all proceeds go toward the Lake Forest Wrestling Program. Please place all bids in the comment section of this post. Let the bidding begin!

Its Auction Time! Our first item is the whirlpool wall oven. The auction for this item will go until Friday at 2 PM. If you are interested in bidding for this item, please do so in the comments below. Be sure to bid on the original post, and not one that has been shared by others.Remember that we will increase the bid by increments of $10(example: if you want to raise from $100, then it will move up to $110), until the item is sold. Once. the auction closes Friday, we will contact the individual directly with payment options, and will also schedule pickup/delivery times as well. Lake Forest Wrestling will be doing an online/Facebook appliance auction to help raise funds for the upcoming season. We will post one appliance per week (Monday-Friday), and if you are interested in bidding, you can do so in the comment section for that particular item. Once the bidding begins, we will do the bids in $10 increments (ex. If you’re wanting to raise the bid from $100, it would be raised to $110). Information about the different types of appliances are listed on the flyer below. We will begin with our first item this coming Monday, June 29th. The Lake Forest Bruins Wrestling team honored their 8th graders last night in their last home meet of the season against McMinn, and came away with the win 71-18. Before the match, we had the privilege of recognizing these awesome 8th graders and their families. Thank you again to all of our 8th grade wrestlers and families for all that you do for the Lake Forest Wrestling Program. The coaching staff is extremely proud of each and every one of you, and are thankful that we got to play a small role along the way. God Bless and Go Bruins!

Survive and Advance!
The Lake Forest Bruins Wrestling Team extended their dual meet season last night in the Region Dual Tournament. The Bruins finished runner-up to Cleveland Middle in a tightly contested match that saw two great teams battling back and forth until the final whistle was blown. Lake Forest made it to the championship match with wins over Hixson, and number two seed Hunter Middle. The runner-up finish means that the Bruins will advance to the Sectional Duals this Friday at East Hamilton Middle. We need everyone to come to East Hamilton at 5:30 on Friday, to help cheer on the Bruins as they try to punch their ticket to the State Duals. God Bless and Go Bruins!
