Spoons have been flying out the door the last two weeks. The white bass are spawning or just finishing and are hungry. Stripers are stacking up below the dams and smallmouth are found in the current breaks looking to ambush Shad. It’s a GREAT time to have Foley Spoons ties on!

One of the funest fish you can catch are Hybrid Stripers. These are a hatchery created species by mixing white bass with a saltwater striper. Their average weights are about 7-10 pounds depending on where you fish but can get to 30lbs. They are incredible fighters and OUTSTANDING table-fare.

The white and chartreuse Foley's were put into action a few weeks ago by a couple local anglers and they landed 31 hybrids and 6 stripers along with dozens of drum, white bass and spotted bass. The tail waters of all dams are a fantastic place to put the Foley to good use.

White bass are schooled up in many areas, they are great fighting fish and excellent table-fare. With the Foley spoon you dont have to wait until they surface to catch them like with poppers behind a float, you can catch them while everybody else is waiting. :)
