Even after our alum have secured that first contract, we still celebrate their journeys as they continue to follow their dreams. Congratulations to are alum who have recently been promoted or earned prestigious professional certifications.

* Gabriele Pitzanti is a guest artist with multiple ballet companies across the UK and was just awarded the UK Global Talent Visa, an honor and distinction for those artists with exceptional skill.

* Ilona Halloran-Rojas - promoted from Apprentice to Corps de Ballet at Miami City Ballet.

* Lauren Fiddes - promoted from Apprentice to Company Artist with Avant Chamber Ballet in Dalls, TX.

THIS IS ONE MOMENT IN A MUCH BIGGER JOURNEY.

To every dancer who applied for the 2026 E. John Busser Ballet Scholarship: we want you to know how honored we were to see your work.

Behind every application was something we couldn’t fully see—the years of training, the early mornings and late rehearsals, the corrections, the sacrifices, the persistence, and the love of ballet that keeps bringing you back to the studio.

Those things matter.

Scholarships, auditions, acceptances, and disappointments will all become part of a dancer’s story. None of them, on their own, define the artist you are becoming.

Continue to train with purpose. Seek challenges. Listen deeply. Take risks. Protect your love of the art. And give yourself the time and space to become the dancer—and artist—you are capable of becoming.

For those pursuing a professional life in ballet, the road ahead will demand resilience as much as talent. Trust the work you are putting in now.

Please join us in recognizing and congratulating our 2026 Junior finalists Broolyn Ronn, Brooklyn from the US, Charlie Cable Charlie Cable from the US, Crawford Haupt from the US, and Kamilla Latifi, Kamilla Latifi from Italy.

Brooklyn is training at the Dance Conservatory of North Atlanta, Charlie is training at The Rock School of Dance, Crawford is training at the Cary Ballet Conservatory, and Kamilla is training at the Conservatory International de Anarella Sanchez, in Portugal.
