WAY TO GO Katy and Thomas!!!!

Bayou Academy is proud to announce senior, Katy Clark, was selected to be part of the MAIS All-Star basketball team. 💙👏 She is among the best of the best within the MAIS and we are proud to call her ours!

Thomas Craft, a junior, was also selected for an elite group within the MAIS. Thomas was selected for the MAIS Futures basketball team! We are so proud of him and his hard work!

What a way to close out this season.

HS girls end this season with a record of 20-15. They fell short to Leake Academy after a 29-32 loss. Katy Clark led with 15 points. Taylor McCain followed with 9 points. Alli Kyle Cunningham added 3 more to the total.

HS boys end this season with a final record of 16-16 after a 53-54 loss to Leake Academy tonight. Thomas Craft led with 16 points. Mitchell Jones followed with 14 points. JR Isler added 11 more to the total.

Both teams fought every second in both games. Proud to be a C**t!

HS girls advance to a record of 20-14 at the end of the District Tournament. Last night Heritage defeated us with a final of 42-45. Katy Clark led with 16 points. Taylor McCain followed with 10, and Alli Kyle Cunningham added 7 more to the total.

In the consolation round today, HS girls defeated Starkville Academy 60-42. Katy Clark led with 21 points. Kate Chrestman followed with 18 points and Alli Kyle Cunningham added 7 more to the total.

They will face Leake Academy next week at the North State Tournament at Simpson Academy…date and time TBA.

HS boys fall to a record of 16-15 at the end of the District Tournament. Last night Heritage beat the C**ts 51-62. Mitchell Jones led with 16 points. Carson Jenkins followed with 11, and Brett Myers added 8 more points.

The consolation game ended in another close loss against Starkville with a final score of 38-41. Thomas Craft led with 18 points. Mitchell Jones followed with 9, and Carson Jenkins added 8 more to the total.
