Thank you for the memories, San Diego! I will be moving to the Bay Area in a few short weeks, and I can’t wait to welcome new students to at our new (to be determined) location in NorCal. Happy Oireachtas Season! 🏆 This is such a critical time of year for competitive dancers, as the competition weekend will determine whether a dancer has achieved their goals of a recall, medal, WQ, top 10, podium, winning, or even retaining a title from previous years. It can be easy to lose sight of how far you have already come. Please allow yourself to have fun, enjoy the moment, dance with confidence and compete with grace. There is always another competition and another chance to dance your best. After all, the most we can ever hope is to dance our very best on stage and give it everything we have learned from our years of training & practice. I firmly believe we can all learn more from the times in life we fall just short of our goals, as we figure out how to dig deeper and come back even stronger. Best of luck to those competing, and congratulations to those who have already danced! ❤️🍀

The Sutherland School of Irish Dance is brand new to San Diego, but certified TCRG & former Champion Cara Sutherland brings over 20 years of experience Irish dancing to Point Loma. ✨

Beginners will learn the fundamental movements of Irish dancing along with skills like counting the music, mastering right & left, coordination, and the confidence to put their best foot forward.
