I’m rebuilding a Minn Kota Powerdrive V2 trolling for my friend and going to install it on his Kayak.

✅ Disassembled the lower unit and discovered that the bearing is corroded due to a seal failed.

✅ Ordered all new seals, bearing, brushes, brush springs, new brush mount bracket,screws, and ordered a copilot w/remote control.

✅ Removed the wires from the shaft and cut the shaft from 50” to 35” overall.

✅ Installed the top head unit and installed the wires through the shaft to the lower unit.

✅ Installed the new copilot.

🤔 Still waiting on the Minn Kota parts to arrive in the mail.
