I was a professional swimmer. I knew how to train hard.
And I still couldn’t figure out my own body after I retired.

That’s the part nobody talks about — and the part the fitness industry exploits.

More cardio. More restriction. More “earning” your food. Most of us buy into it for years before realizing the problem was never our effort.

After retiring, I worked out consistently, ate “clean,” and went absolutely nowhere.

My identity, my sport, and my entire routine had disappeared overnight — and I was replacing it with noise.
