What a NIGHT!!!! Congratulations to Florida Select 08 Ron for being runner up in the NSA Summer Slam at Legends Way! These girls fought until after midnight on Sunday. Way to go! Great way to start the season.

CF Select - McCleary 14u

Few weeks back Danika Jones (2024) was awarded MVP at the Lake Sumter State College Softball camp. She was the youngest camper to ever receive this award, but that’s not our favorite part.

The last batter of camp was up, and Dani was pitching. She threw a wild pitch, hustled to get to the plate, catcher makes a good throw, they get the out & home AND Dani is looking next play and gets the runner out trying to advance to 3rd. 💪🏼

This was a HEADS UP play by her, and is the play that sealed the deal for her MVP. 🏆

Remember, coaches are ALWAYS watching. How you recover after an error tells a coach a lot about the type of player you are. 👀
Dani easily could have given up, but we all know that’s not the player she is! 🥎

Keep working hard Dani! We are so proud of the player & PERSON you are! 👏🏼
