Awesome job, ladies! ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿฅ‹

Last night, more than 40 incredible young women joined us at Family Church in Windermere for an engaging 3-hour Womenโ€™s Self-Defense Seminar. It was inspiring to see so much enthusiasm, focus, and a willingness to learn.

Our team of professors shared practical lessons on situational awareness, mental preparation for critical encounters, and the gift of fear---understanding how fear, when recognized and managed correctly, can become a powerful tool to help protect yourself rather than control you.

A huge thank you to Professor Juliana, Professor Bob, Coach Heidi, Professor Dave, & Jessica for investing your time, knowledge, and passion into the next generation of strong, confident women.

At Gracie Barra Clermont, we believe self-defense is about much more than techniques---itโ€™s about building confidence, awareness, and the mindset to avoid danger whenever possible and respond effectively when necessary.

Thank you to Family Church for hosting this amazing event. We canโ€™t wait to do it again! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿฅ‹

Day 1 of GBK Competition Camp is off to an amazing start and we could not be more proud of these athletes.

We will see everyone back on the mat Wednesday at 9:30AM.

One reminder for parents -- please make sure your athlete comes with water and healthy snacks. We are building in a mid-training snack break and trust us -- they are working hard enough to need it. ๐Ÿค™

A few reminders before day one:
โœ” Full GI uniform required
๐ŸŽ’ Bring water and healthy snacks

Week 1 is all about bottom game โ€” guard, sweeps, submissions, and escapes.
